Target Conference: Probing Big Data for Answers

What is the best paradigm and the optimal interface to probe Big Data for straight answers in an ever changing environment?

This multi-disciplinary conference is focused on the interface between users and Big Data, with examples from current projects in both the North of the Netherlands and across the world. Representatives from academia, the business and public sectors already engaged in challenging research and development projects will set up the stage for discussing the dynamic present and exciting future of Big Data. The dialog will evolve in the context of several large-scale ongoing project including LOFAR, Lifelines, Smart Energy Grids, BBMRI-NL Genome of the Netherlands, ESA's Euclid Mission, XLDBs, Cultural Heritage, Sensor Cities, eScience, IJKdijk and Full-dome Visualization.
