Paul Smit
Co-founder and CTO at ForeNova Technologies B.V. Before starting ForeNova, I worked at international security company Bitdefender as EMEA Solutions architect, following the acquisition of Dutch security startup RedSocks by Bitdefender. During those years in cyber security, I noticed that appropriate protection from cyber threats was missing for medium-sized organizations (from 150 to 2,500 employees) in various sectors (manufacturing, healthcare, government, retail, and transportation) and co-founded ForeNova Technologies B.V. to change that. With training and six years of work experience as a nurse, the healthcare sector holds a special place in my dedication to offering cybersecurity solutions to mid-sized organizations.
ForeNova offers solutions that are easy to implement and manage, even for organizations without a large IT department, and at a price that is interesting for midsize organizations. MSPs and MSSPs can serve even smaller organizations with ForeNova's products. ForeNova is particularly strong in Network Detection and Response and Managed Detection and Response, in which ForeNova's MDR solution also monitors the network.
