I’m a passionate manager with over 25 years’ experience in IT, Telecom, technology and operations. I’m strong in bridging the gap between commercial, finance and engineering and leading multidisciplinary teams reaching challenging goals. My management style is focused on teamwork, outlining clear directions, clarity and “generating energy” for myself and the team.

My career started at KPN Mobile in 1993 in an engineering role. In 2000 I started with two partners Iparix Communications, delivering wireless and xDSL services in the B2B market in Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2004 the wireless local loop department (XtraNed) was sold to Versatel, where I became Manager Wireless Networks. In 2006 Versatel was bought by Tele2 and from 2016 until 2019 I was the CTO and director network operations at Tele2. Since mid 2019 I'm responsible for the fiber network infrastructures of Eurofiber Group in the rol as Director Group Infra Operator.

Utilizing our own fiberoptic network and datacenters, we provide smart, open, future-proof cloud and connectivity solutions to companies, government bodies and non-profit organizations. Customers have complete freedom to choose the services, applications and providers they need, allowing them to tap into the full potential of digital innovation. Eurofiber has a 37,200 km fiberoptic network covering the Netherlands, Belgium and France and stretching into Germany. This network is expanded by 40 km per week on average. Eurofiber companies Dataplace and Eura DC exploit nine datacenters in the Netherlands and France. Supplementing that vital infrastructure, we also offer interconnectivity between nearly all carrier-neutral datacenters in The Netherlands and Belgium through the DCspine platform. Eurofiber is laying the foundation under the digital society, which is why the Dutch government has assigned Eurofiber the status of ‘vital infrastructure’.
